Our ten-day tour will introduce you to some of Namibia's most captivating scenery, people and animals.

Our tour will be focusing on central and northern Namibia, taking us from the capital Windhoek to the world-renowned sand dunes at Sossusvlei. From there we head up to Swakopmund and then on to northern Damaraland. We will come close to some majestic lions, meet the Himba people and encounter a fascinating range of wildlife at Etosha National Park and the AfriCat Foundation.

Here is a daily summary of what awaits you on your trip:

1 - SOSSUSVLEI

Pickup from Windhoek International Airport

Transfer to Desert Homestead in Sossusvlei

Welcome drinks and lunch

Sunset drive to capture dune landscape

2 - SOSSUSVLEI

Early morning drive to Sossusvlei with brunch at the dunes

Afternoon photography workshop

Free time until dinner

Star trail photography workshop after dinner

3 - SWAKOPMUND

Sunrise drive / balloon ride (optional and at extra cost)

Transfer to Swakopmund after breakfast

Packed lunch en route

Meal out in Swakopmund

4 - SWAKOPMUND

Mid-morning photography workshop

Free afternoon in Swakopmund

(optional activities - at extra cost - include sandboarding, quadbiking, scenic flights, dolphin cruises)

Lunch and dinner at own leisure and cost today

 - NORTHERN DAMARALAND

Drive to northern Damaraland

Packed lunch en route, arriving at Kavita Lion Lodge in time for afternoon tea

Late afternoon sunset drive to observe lions at Afri-Leo Foundation

6 - NORTHERN DAMARALAND

Early morning drive to lion sanctuary

Afternoon trip to nearby Himba village

Late afternoon photography workshop

7 - ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK

Transfer to Naua Naua Game Lodge just outside Etosha

Sundowner drive including visit to cheetah enclosure
